Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Major League Learning Inc. ("MLL," "we," "us") handles personal information collected through our pre-launch marketing and waitlist website and through our official accounts on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (together, our "services"). The Major League Learning app will have its own privacy policy when it launches.
This website and the waitlist are for adults (18+). Our social media accounts live on platforms that require users to be at least 13 — see "Children and minors" below.
Information we collect
Waitlist information. When you join the waitlist we collect your email address. If you choose to, you may optionally share your role (parent, educator, or other), your child’s grade band, and your name. These optional details are never required.
Attribution data. To understand where visitors come from, we collect basic attribution data — UTM parameters, the referring website, and the landing path — stored in a first-party cookie on your device (see "Cookies" below) and saved with your signup.
Social media and platform data. When you interact with our official accounts on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok — for example by commenting on a post, sending us a direct message, mentioning us, or following us — we receive information from those platforms through their developer tools. Depending on the platform and the interaction, this can include your username, your platform user ID, public profile details, the content of your comment or message, and when the interaction happened. We use automation to receive and respond to these interactions — for example, replying to your comment or sending you a direct message with a hint or an answer when you ask for one.
Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to measure how the website is used. It runs without cookies and does not identify you personally. Analytics events never include your email address.
Technical and security data. Like most websites, our infrastructure processes your IP address to deliver pages and prevent abuse. For rate limiting we store only a cryptographic hash of your IP, never the address itself, and those records are deleted automatically within days. If an error occurs, our error-monitoring tool records technical details about it; we strip email addresses and form contents from those reports.
How we use your information
We use your email to send a confirmation message (double opt-in) and, once you confirm, launch and product updates about Major League Learning. We use the optional details and attribution data to tailor and improve those updates, and technical data to keep the website secure and working.
We use social media and platform data to operate our accounts: publishing content, responding to comments and messages (including automated responses you request, such as hints and answers), moderating our channels, and measuring how our content performs. We do not use platform data for advertising, we do not link it to waitlist signups, and we do not use it to build profiles of individual users.
We process waitlist information with your consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or asking us to delete your information. We process platform data in accordance with the platforms’ developer terms and applicable law, and you can ask us to delete it at any time (see "Requesting deletion of your data").
Cookies
This website uses a single first-party cookie to remember first-touch attribution (how you arrived), stored for up to 30 days. Our analytics runs cookieless. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Service providers
We share information only with the vendors that help us operate our services: Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery), PostHog (cookieless analytics), Vercel (hosting), Sentry (error monitoring), and n8n (workflow automation used to operate our social media accounts). Each processes data only on our behalf.
Instagram and Facebook (operated by Meta) and TikTok are independent platforms, not our service providers. Anything you do on those platforms — including your own posts and comments — is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We receive data from them only as described above.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Where your information is stored
Our service providers store and process data primarily in the United States; some providers may process data in other regions, such as the European Union. If you are in Canada or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed outside your home jurisdiction, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Children and minors
This website and the waitlist are for adults only, and this website does not collect personal information from children. Any information about a child submitted with a waitlist signup (such as a grade band) is optional, provided by an adult, and does not identify the child.
Our social media accounts live on platforms that require users to be at least 13. If a user aged 13–17 interacts with our accounts — for example, by commenting on a post — we may receive the platform data described above. We handle it the same way as any other platform data: we use it only to respond and to moderate our channels, and we do not use it to build profiles of minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 anywhere. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, or you are a parent or guardian who wants interaction data about your teen deleted, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention
If you join the waitlist but never confirm, your unconfirmed signup is automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity. Confirmed signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information. Rate-limiting records are purged automatically on a short schedule. Social media and platform data is kept only as long as needed to respond to your interaction and maintain a basic record of our exchanges, and is deleted on request.
Requesting deletion of your data
You can ask us to delete any personal information we hold about you, including data we received through Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. Deletion is free.
To make a request, email hello@majorleaguelearning.com and tell us what you want deleted:
Waitlist data: email us from the address you want removed (or name it in your message). You can also stop all emails instantly using the unsubscribe link in any message we send.
Social media data: include the platform (Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok) and your username or handle on that platform.
We will verify the request, delete the data within 30 days, and confirm by reply. Deleting data we hold does not remove content from the platforms themselves (for example, your own comments), which you control through your account on each platform.
Security
We use encryption in transit, restrict access to personal information, and keep confirmation links single-use and time-limited. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we design for privacy by default.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us — we honor these requests regardless of where you live (see "Requesting deletion of your data" for the fastest path).
If you are in Canada, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada with concerns about our handling of your information. If you are a US resident, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify waitlist members (for example, by email).
